Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data e-moto.gr collects, why it collects it, who it is shared with and what rights you have.

What we collect

Account details: first and last name, email, phone, password. Passwords are always stored encrypted and cannot be read, not even by us.
Order details: billing and delivery address, phone, products, amounts, payment and shipping method, and any notes you add to the order.
Invoice details (only if you request an invoice): company name, VAT number, tax office, profession, registered address.
Contact details: whatever you send us through the contact form, a product question or by email.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, products viewed.
Motorcycle details (optional): engine capacity and model, so we can suggest compatible parts.

Why we process it

To fulfil your order — performance of a contract. Without this data we cannot ship or take payment.
To comply with the law — tax and accounting records, warranties, returns.
To send newsletters and SMS — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
To keep the shop secure and working — legitimate interest: fraud prevention, protection against automated attacks, usage statistics.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with partners who process it on our behalf, and only as far as needed:

Payments: Nexi Payments Greece (XPay) for card payments and PayPal for PayPal payments. We never see or store your card number — those details go straight to the payment provider. We keep only the success indication and the authorisation code.
Couriers: ACS, Geniki Taxydromiki and ELTA Courier, to deliver your order. They receive your name, address and phone.
Email and newsletter: ContactPigeon. It receives your email address and, while you are signed in, information about the products you view and the orders you complete, so it can send you relevant updates and your order emails.
SMS: Apifon, for order status messages.
Statistics: Google Analytics 4, for anonymous traffic statistics.
Bot protection: Google reCAPTCHA on our forms, subject to Google's own privacy policy and terms.
Sign in with Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from them. We get no access to your account.

These partners are contractually bound to use the data solely for the purpose assigned to them.

Newsletter signup uses double opt-in: after you submit your address you receive an email, and the subscription is completed only if you click the link. You can unsubscribe from any message you receive, or by writing to info@e-moto.gr.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the shop to work (sign-in, basket, security) and, only with your consent, cookies for statistics and offers. You give or refuse that consent in the notice shown on your first visit, and you can change it at any time from your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Orders and invoices: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Account: for as long as you keep it. If you ask for deletion, your details are removed except for what we are obliged to retain for accounting records.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Technical logs: for a limited period, for security reasons.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

For any of these, write to info@e-moto.gr. We reply within one month at the latest.

If you believe we have not respected your rights, you may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Kifisias 1-3, 11523 Athens, www.dpa.gr).

Security

The connection to e-moto.gr is encrypted (SSL/TLS) on every page. Passwords are stored encrypted. Card details never pass through our own servers.

Minors

The shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page. We suggest you check it from time to time.
