The chain has Quadra-X Ring technology, which cuts friction by up to 40% because of the smaller contact area. The X-Ring's 4-point contact pad also gives a better seal than conventional O-rings. Laboratory tests showed that Quadra-X ring chains last 50% longer than a standard O-ring chain! The chains in the DEX range are of outstanding quality for Road & Off Road motorcycles. They are made in Japan. The Quadra X-ring design cuts weight and friction, which lengthens the chain's life by 1.5 – 2 times more than a standard O-ring chain!
EK Chain (Enuma Chain) was founded in 1941 in Japan and is one of the three big Japanese motorcycle chain manufacturers, an original-equipment supplier and race team partner.
Its X-ring and QX-ring chains keep the lubricant inside the pin and last twice as long as plain chains.
