The German company Stabilus is the world leader in producing gas-oil seat struts for scooters and motorcycles. They are precision products in use and in absorbing shock, they extend fully, and they have a stop position at full extension.
Stabilus was founded in 1934 in Koblenz, Germany, and is the largest manufacturer of gas springs in the world, an original-equipment supplier to the car industry.
Its scooter seat struts carry the same specification as the genuine part and solve the familiar problem of the seat that will not stay open.
