This filter features DNA®’s advanced FCd1 (Full Contour design). - FCd (Full Contour design) is the innovative design by DNA®, that allows the filteringmaterial to follow precisely the contour of the air box and uses the complete air boxsurface as “active filtering area“ eliminating “dead spots” that cause turbulence, increasing air flow and filtering efficiency.
Installation of this new DNA Air filter is very easy; simply follow the installation instructions included in the workshop manual.
The filtering efficiency1 is extremely high at 98-99% filtering efficiency (ISO 5011), with 4 layers of DNA® Cotton.
The flow of this new DNA filter is +31.10% more than the stock filter!- DNA air filter flow: 115.00 CFM (Cubic feet per minute) @1,5”H2O corrected @ 25degrees Celsius-HONDA stock filter’s flow: 87.70 CFM (Cubic feet per minute) @1,5”H2O corrected @ 25degrees Celsius
