HAGON Products Ltd. was founded in 1958 to build motorcycle frames. Its involvement with suspension came about through the English company GIRLING. It all started in the 1980s in London. GIRLING — by then an established shock absorber manufacturer with a strong racing presence reaching as far as Formula 1 — decided to withdraw from the motorcycle sector. Alf Hagon then bought the rights along with the tooling and created the well-known brand name Hagon Shocks. HAGON Products Ltd has been building shock absorbers since 1985. Today it produces monoshock units for more than 600 motorcycle models and over 1,000 with twin nitrogen-oil shocks in 7 different types, with many settings and options to suit every need. It covers almost every motorcycle and scooter model on the market from 1952 to the present day.
